“One of Ukraine’s Largest Ceramic Tile Manufacturing Facilities Has Been Lost”: “Epicenter” Discusses the Consequences of the Russian Strike

On August 5, Russia destroyed the “Epicenter” logistics and manufacturing complex in the Kyiv region. One person is known to have been killed, and three others were injured.
The company's press office reported this.
It is noted that a company employee died at the logistics and production complex in Kalynivka, Kyiv Oblast. Three others were injured and are currently in the hospital.
A parking lot near the logistics complex was also destroyed by fire: 20 employees’ cars were destroyed.
The company reported that as a result of the Russian strike, the logistics center in Kyiv was destroyed, and in Kalynivka, Kyiv Oblast, the plant’s warehouses and production facilities were destroyed.
Russian missiles completely destroyed two large warehouse complexes. Another missile struck the production site of the Epicentr Ceramic Corporation plant and destroyed all the kilns, preventing the company from continuing operations.

The press service stated that production at the Epicentr Ceramic Corporation plant has been halted. To avoid interrupting supplies, production will be temporarily relocated to two of the company’s overseas facilities, and there are plans to launch another production site in Ukraine.
At this time, it is impossible to definitively assess the extent of the damage, and the attack was described as a targeted strike against Ukrainian manufacturing, logistics, and jobs

According to preliminary estimates, it will take at least a year and a half to fully restore the destroyed production facilities, and most likely about two years.
As a reminder, on the night of August 5, logistics infrastructure in the Kyiv region was damaged during a combined Russian attack. There are fatalities at a railway platform in the Brovary district.
