The Russian Federation’s attack on the Ukrainian military training ground may have been an attempt to “cast a shadow” on the new Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Mykhailo Drapaty.

Throughout the day on July 24, Russian forces launched a combined strike against Ukrainian territory, using ballistic and anti-ship missiles, as well as more than 90 attack drones.

The Russian missile that struck a facility in the Kyiv region during the attack did not hit a military training ground, but rather a private sports complex that has no connection whatsoever to the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine stated that the civilian facility targeted by a Russian missile strike on July 24 is not under the jurisdiction of the Defense Forces.

Russian forces launched another missile strike on the Kyiv region, killing 10 people and injuring about 100 others, with injuries ranging in severity.

The Armed Forces of Ukraine commented on the consequences of the latest Russian attack, emphasizing the need for strict adherence to safety measures.
