Putin's ceasefire: Kyiv issues first "Drone danger" yellow alert

Kyiv residents heard the new “Drone Danger” alert for the first time following the launch of the differentiated warning system.

The system became operational in the capital on September 6. Its unique feature is that the siren and alerts are designed to inform residents not only of the air raid alert itself but also of the nature of the threat.

Thus, in the event of a drone attack, residents of the capital may receive a separate warning about “Drone Danger.”

Russia Attacked Kyiv Despite Putin’s Statement

The Russian attack took place despite a statement by Kremlin dictator Vladimir Putin about an alleged three-day “pause” in strikes on the Ukrainian capital.

The air raid alert in Kyiv on the evening of September 7 began at 5:40 p.m. Residents were urged to respond to the danger signal and take shelter.

As a reminder, on September 5, the Kremlin stated that Russian dictator Vladimir Putin had ordered a halt to strikes on Kyiv from September 5 to 8.
