Sergiy Kyslytsya, First Deputy Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, commented on a statement by UN Secretary-General António Guterres, in which he expressed “deep concern” over the ongoing escalation and condemned Ukrainian strikes on Russian territory.
This is mentioned on the Ukrainian official’s page on the social media platform X.
As is known, in his statement, the UN Secretary-General expressed concern over the situation in Russia and condemned the recent attacks by Ukrainian drones on a number of Russian regions.
In response to these remarks, the Ukrainian diplomat quoted Guterres’ words and sarcastically commented on them:

As a reminder, the UN Secretary-General “strongly condemned” both Russia’s strikes on Ukraine and Ukraine’s responses to the aggressor. He noted that attacks on the civilian population and civilian infrastructure are a clear violation of international humanitarian law and must cease immediately.
Guterres’ statement also expressed “deep concern” over the risks to the safety of navigation in the Black and Azov Seas. He added that Russian attacks on the Ukrainian maritime corridor, through which grain and other agricultural products are exported to Africa, Asia, the Middle East, and other regions, could significantly impact food supplies and cause global price increases.
