Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced that new measures are being prepared to counter Russian missile and drone strikes, and that a meeting was held to discuss the development of the FREYJA air defense system.
Zelenskyy announced this on his Telegram channel.
According to the president, preparations are already underway to draft issues for consideration by the Supreme Commander-in-Chief’s Headquarters.
A separate area of focus is the development of Ukraine’s additional long-range strike capabilities.

He separately noted that the Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council is overseeing the implementation of previously adopted decisions, in particular regarding strengthening countermeasures against Russian strike drones and accelerating the production of necessary equipment.
