Zelenskyy has reshuffled the National Security and Defense Council

This was reported by the Office of the President.

The National Security and Defense Council now includes:

• Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Mykhailo Drapatyi;
• Deputy Minister of Defense Yevhen Khmara;
• Minister of Internal Affairs Ivan Vygivskyi;
• Prime Minister Serhiy Koretskyi;
• Minister of Economy Oleksandr Kravchenko;
• First Deputy Head of the Security Service of Ukraine Oleksandr Poklad;
• Minister of Justice Denys Maslov.

Andriy Sybiha, First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, was also approved as a member of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine.

Oleksandr Syrskyi, Mykhailo Fedorov, Ihor Klymenko, Yulia Svyrydenko, and Oleksii Sobolev were removed from the NSDC.

As a reminder, President Zelenskyy previously announced new areas of responsibility for Umerov and Klymenko: Rustem Umerov, the current Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council, will continue to work on foreign affairs, while Ihor Klymenko, who has experience serving as Minister of Internal Affairs, will now become Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council.
