Zelenskyy arrived in Poland for the first time since the controversy over naming a Ukrainian unit after UPA heroes

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy arrived in Lublin on a visit to Poland. This is his first trip to the country since relations between Kyiv and Warsaw deteriorated over the controversy surrounding the naming of a Ukrainian military unit after UPA heroes.
In Poland, Zelenskyy will meet with Prime Minister Donald Tusk, according to TVP.
The two sides are also expected to discuss the results of Zelenskyy’s talks with U.S. President Donald Trump.
As a reminder, on July 28, Volodymyr Zelenskyy arrived in Washington for a visit that included scheduled meetings with Donald Trump, his team, and partners who could strengthen Ukraine’s defense.
U.S. President Donald Trump has changed his attitude toward Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy. After their meeting in the Oval Office at the White House, Trump stated that the talks were successful and the meeting went very well.
