When asked to clarify whether Zelenskyy had met with Fedorov today, Litvin replied: “Yes, Mykhailo came by.”
No other details of the meeting have been reported at this time.
As a reminder, on July 16, protests began in Kyiv, as well as in Lviv and other major cities across Ukraine. The main reason is citizens’ opposition to the dismissal of Mykhailo Fedorov from the post of defense minister.
On July 15, Mykhailo Fedorov officially confirmed that he was stepping down as Ukraine’s defense minister. In his closing statement, he reported on the ministry’s achievements, thanked his team, the military, and international partners, and stated that he would continue working on the development of defense technologies.
