Georgiy Tykhyн, spokesperson for the Ukrainian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, assessed Valeriy Zaluzhnyy’s performance as Ukraine’s ambassador to the United Kingdom.
Tikhyi shared his thoughts on this matter in an interview with "Shelter."
“Valery Fedorovich and I get along well. In fact, as a public figure and as a person, he carries such weight in his own right that it definitely works in Ukraine’s favor in the United Kingdom,” the diplomat noted.
In other words, I’ve seen firsthand how eager British politicians, diplomats, military officials, and political circles are simply to meet with him, talk to him, and understand what’s happening in Ukraine. That’s why I think it’s definitely beneficial for the diplomatic system and for Ukraine to have a figure of such stature in this position. That’s for sure
