During the attack on the Orsk Oil Refinery, Ukrainian drones struck key infrastructure that cannot yet be repaired. The refinery has been completely shut down. The city is facing a critical gasoline shortage, and authorities are preparing for the “worst-case scenario.”

The official also commented on the situation at the local oil refinery. According to the Russian governor, following an attack by Ukrainian drones, the plant requires repairs that cannot be carried out at this time.

As a reminder, on the morning of August 11, drones attacked the Russian city of Orsk in the Orenburg Region. A local oil refinery was hit. Later, the General Staff confirmed that the refinery had been damaged. According to their explanation, the refinery has a capacity of about 6 million metric tons of crude oil per year. The facility produces automotive gasoline, diesel and jet fuel, fuel oil, bitumen, and other petroleum products.
