The General Staff confirmed that four Russian military ships were struck in Novorossiysk

On the night of August 12, 2026, units of the Ukrainian Defense Forces struck a naval base in Novorossiysk, Krasnodar Krai, Russian Federation, as part of a joint operation.
This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
According to preliminary information, four military ships sustained damage of varying degrees.
Among the affected vessels are two Project 11356 frigates, the “Admiral Makarov” and the “Admiral Essen,” a Project 21631 small missile ship, the “Buyan-M,” and a Project 22160 patrol ship, the “Vasyl Bykov.”
Details are still being confirmed. The Defense Forces are steadily reducing Russia’s ability to continue its armed aggression.
