The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has released satellite images of the struck chemical plant.
The General Staff’s press service noted that the “Kamensky Plant” is an enterprise of the Russian military-industrial complex.
The plant is part of the Russian military-industrial complex and produces solid rocket fuel for the “Uragan” multiple launch rocket system (MLRS), "Smerch," and "Tornado-S," as well as for a number of missile systems and airborne weapons

It is known that FKP “Kamensky Plant” is located approximately 10–15 km from Ukraine’s state border and is therefore within range of a significant number of Ukrainian Armed Forces weapons systems.
In December 2024, the chemical plant in Kamensk-Shakhtinsky was already attacked by the Ukrainian Air Force: it was struck by Storm Shadow cruise missiles.
As a reminder, Group 13, a special operations unit of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense, destroyed a Russian “Pantsir-S1” anti-aircraft missile and gun system worth $15 million, as well as a military crane belonging to the occupying forces, in the temporarily occupied Crimea.
