The Special Operations Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine demonstrated the ground phase of the operation to liberate the village of Andriivka-Klevtsove in the Oleksandrivka sector.

This was reported by the Special Operations Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Russian troops had been attempting to capture the village with small assault groups for some time. The occupiers gradually infiltrated the village and took up positions.

Operators from the 3rd Special Operations Regiment, in coordination with one of the Special Operations Forces’ psychological operations centers, carried out a comprehensive operation to liberate the settlement.

The released footage shows Ukrainian special forces advancing, driving Russian troops from their positions, and regaining control of the territory.

As a result, 30 Russian servicemen surrendered. Those occupiers who continued to resist were neutralized.

The settlement of Andriivka-Klevtsove, which was called Iskra during the Soviet era, is once again under Ukrainian control.

As a reminder, combat operations are ongoing in the Dnipropetrovsk region to liberate settlements temporarily occupied by Russia. Currently, the invaders control one settlement.

In mid-July, the Defense Forces pushed the enemy back near four villages in the Dnipropetrovsk region.

At the end of the month, they succeeded in pushing back Russian units near the settlement of Filiya on the border between the Dnipropetrovsk and Donetsk regions.
