Russia struck Sumy and the surrounding region: there are casualties, including a child among the dead

On the night of August 6, the Russian military carried out four strikes with guided bombs against civilian infrastructure in the city of Sumy. Three people were killed and 19 others were injured in the Russian attack across the region.
This was reported by Serhiy Kryvosheyenko, head of the Sumy City Military Administration, and the National Police press service.
A massive nighttime enemy strike using guided aerial bombs targeted a shopping center and infrastructure facilities in the Kovpakivskyi district of Sumy.
According to preliminary data, 12 people were injured. Information regarding the consequences of the attack is being clarified

The head of the Sumy City Military Administration specified that high-rise residential buildings, stores, and other city infrastructure facilities were damaged.
Surveys of the affected areas and cleanup efforts following the Russian attack are ongoing.
The National Police press service reported that three people were killed in the Sumy region as a result of Russian attacks, including a 13-year-old girl who died in the hospital from injuries sustained on June 22 during a drone strike on a building in the Zno-Novgorod community
Another 19 people were injured.
It is also reported that people were injured in the Putivl, Buryn, Hlukhiv, and Stepaniv communities as a result of drone strikes on vehicles and other shelling.
As a reminder, Russia carried out a combined attack on Sumy, using guided aerial bombs and attack drones. The shelling resulted in casualties and damage to residential buildings, infrastructure, and transportation.
