Kherson and the surrounding region under enemy attack: one person killed, eight wounded

At around 12:40 p.m., Russian forces attacked residential neighborhoods in Kherson, dropping explosives from a drone. As a result of the strike, an 11-year-old boy sustained an explosive-related injury and experienced acute stress reaction. The child was hospitalized.

In the afternoon, in the Central District of Kherson, an enemy UAV struck an apartment in a high-rise building. The strike shattered the balcony, shattered windows, and left walls and rooms riddled with holes. A 63-year-old man and a 56-year-old woman sustained blast injuries, closed head injuries, and concussions.

In the morning, the occupiers shelled Shyroka Balka in the Stanislavskyi community. A 76-year-old woman sustained fatal injuries as a result of the enemy attack.

Around 10:30 a.m., the enemy shelled Komyshany with artillery. Three people were injured:

• A 76-year-old woman suffered blast injuries, a closed head injury, a concussion, and a contusion;
• A 75-year-old man and a 28-year-old woman were prescribed outpatient treatment.

As a result of the morning shelling of Bilozerka, a 60-year-old man sustained an explosive injury, a concussion, and shrapnel wounds to his torso, arms, and legs.

A drone attack on the Central District of Kherson—caused by a UAV strike—left a 61-year-old woman with blast injuries, a closed head injury, a concussion, and a shrapnel wound to her leg. She was hospitalized in moderate condition.

As a reminder, on Independence Day, the enemy attacked a high-rise building in Chernihiv, resulting in numerous casualties. Twenty people are known to have been injured, including two children aged 12 and 17.
