Russian troops launched a massive shelling attack on one of DTEK's thermal power plants.

DTEK reported this.

The attack caused significant damage to the equipment, and the plant has ceased electricity generation.

The company reported that more than 230 attacks on its thermal power plants have been recorded since the start of the war.

DTEK employees are working under Russian shelling. During the attack on June 12, an employee of the company, Oleksandr Kosolapov, was killed.

As a reminder, on August 18, the Russians attacked Ukraine with 76 “Shahed”-type jet-powered UAVs. The Kyiv region was the main target of the strike. According to preliminary data, more than 70 enemy jet-powered UAVs were shot down or neutralized.
