Overnight ballistic strike on Kyiv: Three people were injured; a warehouse and several cars were destroyed in the city

On the night of July 25–26, Russian occupation forces launched another attack on the Ukrainian capital using ballistic missiles and drones. As a result of the enemy attack, fires broke out in three districts of the city, and non-residential buildings, warehouses, and a dozen cars were damaged.
This was reported by Mayor Vitali Klitschko, the Kyiv Police, the State Emergency Service, and the Ukrainian Air Force.
In the Solomyanskyi district, three people—a woman and two men—were injured. One person was hospitalized, and the other two received outpatient treatment.
According to the State Emergency Service and law enforcement agencies, damage and fires were reported in three districts of Kyiv:
- Desnianskyi District: a warehouse complex was completely destroyed by fire, along with 10 passenger cars and a truck that were parked in the lot.
- Solomyanskyi District: A fire broke out, causing partial damage to non-residential premises and an office building; parked vehicles were damaged.
- Shevchenkivskyi District: A four-story, evacuated building was on fire.
As of this morning, all fires have been extinguished.
Air Defense Operations
According to the Ukrainian Air Force, as of 8:30 a.m., air defense systems in various regions of Ukraine had shot down and neutralized 5 Iskander-M/S-400 ballistic missiles, one X-59/69 guided air-to-ground missile, and 104 enemy UAVs (including Shahed, “Gerbera,” “Italmas,” and others).
At the same time, two ballistic missiles and 27 attack drones were confirmed to have struck 18 locations across the country, with debris falling at seven of them.
As a reminder, on the night of July 26, Russian forces attacked Kyiv with ballistic missiles. Fires broke out in three districts of the city as a result of falling debris.
