Shelling of Kherson: A minibus carrying passengers was hit, residential buildings were damaged, and there are casualties

The aggressor country has once again shelled Kherson. As a result of the Russian attack, one person was killed and more than 10 were wounded, including a child.
This was reported by the press service of the Kherson City Military Administration and the Kherson Regional Prosecutor's Office.
Update, 1:55 p.m.:
The number of people injured in the Russian attack on a minibus in the city center has risen to four.
The press service of the Kherson City Hall reported that a 78-year-old woman was diagnosed with blast injuries, a traumatic brain injury, and acoustic trauma.
She is currently undergoing a medical examination.
Update, 11:00 a.m.:
The Kherson City Military Administration reported that Russian occupiers attacked a minibus in downtown Kherson with a drone. Three people were injured: a 59-year-old man and a 60-year-old woman sustained blast injuries, while the 55-year-old bus driver suffered a concussion, blast injuries, and a closed head injury.
In addition, two people injured in drone attacks in the Korabelny and Dniprovsky districts sought medical attention at the hospital:
- A 38-year-old woman was diagnosed with a concussion, a contusion, blast injury, and a closed head injury. She was hospitalized;
- A 51-year-old woman sustained an explosive injury and a concussion. She received the necessary medical care and was prescribed outpatient treatment.
Update, 10:34 a.m.:
According to the State Emergency Service, the strikes caused fires in two private residential buildings, a three-story apartment building, and apartments on the 4th and 9th floors in various parts of the city. While extinguishing the fires, rescuers saved two people from the 4th floor, leading them out of the smoke-filled building.
It was previously reported that at approximately 6:45 a.m. in the Korabelny district of the city, a man riding a bicycle on the street was killed as a result of a Russian drone attack.
He sustained fatal injuries and died at the scene. His identity and age are currently being determined

The Kherson Regional Prosecutor’s Office has opened an investigation into the man’s death.
In the city’s Central District, a 47-year-old woman was injured as a result of a Russian drone attack. She was taken to the hospital. She is currently undergoing medical examination.
In addition, around 3:00 a.m., Russian occupiers attacked the city center with a drone. According to the Kherson Military Administration, an 88-year-old woman from Kherson suffered a concussion and blast injuries. She was taken to the hospital.
The regional prosecutor’s office clarified that the previous day, August 26, at around 8:10 p.m., the occupiers attacked a passenger car with a drone in the regional center. As a result, a 10-year-old boy was injured and hospitalized.
Russian shelling damaged private homes, high-rise buildings, businesses, an educational institution, and civilian vehicles.
In total, 12 people were wounded over the past day as a result of Russian attacks in the Kherson community.
As a reminder, on August 26, Russian troops attacked Kherson and the region with drones and artillery. Ten people were wounded. A State Emergency Service driver was injured and his vehicle was damaged in a follow-up attack.
