Russian troops continue to attack the Kyiv region—on the morning of August 18, the enemy attacked the Brovary district.

This was reported by the Kyiv Regional State Administration.

In the Brovary district, damage has already been reported to an office building, warehouse facilities, and a private home.

No information about casualties has been received so far.

As of 9:20 a.m., the Regional State Administration reports that the attack on the region is ongoing. An air raid alert remains in effect in the Kyiv region, so residents are urged to stay in shelters until the danger has passed.

Additionally, due to the attack, Ukrzaliznytsia is adjusting train schedules on the Kyiv-Fastiv route.

As a reminder, on August 12, Russian forces attacked Kyiv with enemy drones. Air defense forces were deployed in the capital.

In addition, on the morning of Wednesday, August 12, Russian forces attacked the Kyiv region with strike drones. The attack caused a fire, and one person is reported to have been injured. As noted by the Kyiv Regional State Administration, air defense forces responded promptly today to the attack by Russian jet drones. However, according to Tkachenko, Russian shelling in the Brovary district caused a fire in warehouse buildings.
