The russians launched five UAVs at a house in the Kyiv region, killing a 3-year-old boy and his grandparents

This was reported by the Office of the Prosecutor General of Ukraine.

According to the investigation, the strike occurred around 12:40 a.m. Five enemy UAVs struck a private residence simultaneously. The strike hit a two-story residential building where a family was staying. As a result of the explosions and fire, three people were killed: a 3-year-old boy, as well as his grandmother and grandfather.

The parents of the deceased child survived – they sustained burns and shrapnel wounds of varying severity. Other family members and a local resident were also injured during the attack:

• The 15-year-old older brother of the deceased child suffered severe burns and was hospitalized in critical condition in the intensive care unit;
• A 21-year-old neighbor was injured when he immediately ran to help the family trapped in the fire after the strike.

The two-story residential building was completely destroyed, along with outbuildings and two private cars.

As a reminder, on the night of August 8, Russian forces launched another combined strike against Ukraine. The most severe consequences of this attack were recorded in a village in the Brovary District of Kyiv Oblast, where three people were killed as a result of the strike, including a child born in 2022. There were also injuries.

During this attack, Ukrainian air defense units managed to shoot down and neutralize 135 enemy UAVs, but none of the six missiles fired were intercepted. This is a direct consequence of the fact that in 2026, supplies of anti-ballistic missiles and air defense systems from allies decreased threefold compared to the same period last year.
