Tragedy in Dnipropetrovsk oblast: nearly an entire large family was killed when a rocket struck their home

According to Oleksandr Vilkul, the family was killed by a direct hit from an “Iskander-M” ballistic missile launched by Russian troops from the Voronezh region.

Artem Voronov, 47, and Olena Voronova, 41, were raising 10 children. At the time of the strike, the parents, seven of their children (aged 6 to 17), their one-and-a-half-year-old grandson Artem, and the grandmother were in the house. The family’s eldest son is currently serving in the military, and two other older children are abroad.

It is reported that only the dog, Rocky, was rescued from the rubble; rescuers are still working to recover the other bodies.

In addition, at least nine people were injured as a result of the attack on the community, six of whom were taken to the hospital.

In light of the tragedy and the deaths of civilians in Kryvyi Rih, July 31 has been declared a Day of Mourning.

As a reminder, Russian occupiers carried out a large-scale attack on Ukrainian territory last night. In total, the enemy fired more than 70 missiles—a significant portion of which were ballistic—and launched more than 280 attack drones. In the village of Radushne in the Dnipropetrovsk region, an enemy ballistic missile destroyed a residential building, killing parents and three children.

On the night of July 30, the Russian invading army attacked the Dnipropetrovsk and Kyiv regions. There are casualties and injuries.
