Russia launches massive attack on Kyiv region, injuring two, including a 2-year-old child

Since the evening of September 7, Russian troops have been carrying out a massive attack on the Kyiv region using jet-powered drones, ballistic weapons, and missiles.
Update at 10:30 p.m.
Volodymyr Vovkotrub, secretary of the Bila Tserkva City Council, reported that a fire and smoke filled the air as a result of an enemy attack on one of the city’s businesses.
Residents are advised to close their windows and avoid the area affected by smoke.
According to preliminary media reports, the plant producing REEVA products in Bila Tserkva was attacked.

According to the Kyiv City Military Administration, a fire broke out in a private residential building in the Holosiivskyi district as a result of an enemy attack. Emergency services are heading to the scene.
Update 7:00 p.m.
Timur Tkachenko reported that a fire broke out in the Bucha district as a result of an enemy drone attack on the Kyiv region. Unfortunately, two people were killed and three were injured.
A car was also damaged.
Rescue workers have already extinguished the fire.

According to Timur Tkachenko, a two-year-old child was injured in a Russian attack in Boryspil. The girl suffered a shrapnel wound to the eye; she is conscious and has been hospitalized.
The alert remains in effect; people are urged to stay in shelters to avoid danger.

According to the Kyiv Regional State Administration, two people were injured as a result of an enemy attack in the Kyiv region. The men sustained shrapnel wounds and have been hospitalized.
The consequences of the attack were previously reported by the head of the Kyiv Regional State Administration, Timur Tkachenko.
Populated areas and civilian infrastructure in the region were hit. Private homes, apartment buildings, businesses, warehouses, and vehicles sustained damage.
In the Brovary District, three private homes and a car were damaged. In the Boryspil District, damage was reported to a warehouse, a business, and seven trucks.
Three more private homes were damaged in the Fastiv district, and one private home was damaged in the Obukhiv district.
In the Bila Tserkva district, a production facility, a warehouse, two apartment buildings, and a private residence were damaged.
In Bila Tserkva, a man was injured as a result of the shelling—he sustained shrapnel wounds. Medical personnel are already providing him with the necessary care.
Rescue workers and emergency services are on the scene.
We also remind you that on the night of September 8, Russian troops attacked Kyiv with ballistic weapons. The attack caused damage to residential buildings; two people were killed and ten were wounded.
