Russian troops carried out a targeted strike on a regional passenger train traveling from Dnipro to Zaporizhzhia. Prior to the attack, the train was stopped due to a detected threat, and the passengers were evacuated.

This was reported by Oleksandr Pertsovskyi, chairman of the board of Ukrzaliznytsia.

Ukrzaliznytsia confirmed the death of their colleague. After the evacuation was announced and a warning of increased danger was issued, she returned to the train.

Pertsovskyi emphasized that during air threats, passengers and railway employees must follow evacuation orders and proceed to shelters.

“Failure to follow orders, remaining on or near rolling stock, or failing to move to shelters—these actions have fatal consequences. The enemy is eager to kill; we must act in a composed and responsible manner to counter this terror.”

Buses are being organized to transport passengers who are currently on the route.

We would also like to remind you that Russian troops carried out two precision strikes with “Shahed” drones on a train traveling from Kyiv to Sumy as it approached Sumy. The train was stopped in time, and all passengers were evacuated. There were no casualties.
