As a result of a massive Russian attack on the night of August 20, a warehouse where Yves Rocher Ukraine stores its products was damaged. A warehouse belonging to the “Fora” chain in Martusivka, Kyiv Oblast, was also damaged.
This has been reported by Yves Rocher Ukraine, “Fayni Lodi,” VARUS, and “Fora.”
Yves Rocher Ukraine is working on recovery efforts. The company is temporarily suspending online orders. Customers will be notified regarding orders already placed once the extent of the damage has been assessed. Boutiques remain open, but product selection may be limited.
“Fayni Lody” reported that the distribution warehouse serving 12 cities in Ukraine was destroyed.
A warehouse belonging to a logistics partner of the VARUS chain was also damaged in the attack on Boryspil. Part of the chain’s inventory was stored there.
The company reported that it is working to assess the consequences; currently, some stores may experience temporary, partial shortages of certain items. Company employees are working to ensure uninterrupted supply and product availability on the shelves.
According to Fozzy Group, Russian shelling has once again damaged the company’s logistics infrastructure—this time affecting the Fora chain’s fresh produce distribution center.
The company noted that, most importantly, no one was injured; they had evacuated the premises in time.
Fozzy had only begun using this distribution center last week as part of its efforts to reorganize its logistics following the attack on the night of August 5–6. At that time, four Fozzy Group distribution centers near Kyiv were damaged by shelling.
As a reminder, Red Cross warehouses in Boryspil were damaged during a rocket attack on the Kyiv region on August 20. The attack in the Boryspil district also damaged 14 private homes, 4 warehouse buildings, a gas station, a high-rise building, and 8 cars.
