On August 24, the occupiers attacked a gas station twice in Kharkiv. In the Sumy region, some warehouses came under attack.

This information comes from the Sumy Regional State Administration and the Kharkiv Regional Prosecutor's Office.

Sumy Region

Enemy airstrikes were recorded on August 24:

  • in the Velykochernechchynskyi starosta district, an FPV drone struck a car parked in a yard, and the shock wave damaged the property;
  • in the Zarichne District, on the grounds of a civilian enterprise;
  • in the Kovpakivsky District, a jet-powered UAV attacked a grocery warehouse, causing a fire.

Kharkiv

The enemy attacked a gas station in Kharkiv twice with drones.

A drone strike—preliminarily identified as an “Italmas”—was recorded on the grounds of a closed gas station in the Kyivskyi District of Kharkiv. As a result of the strike, a car belonging to a gas station security guard was destroyed, and the road surface and structures of the gas station were damaged.

Later, a drone struck the grounds of a gas station in the Shevchenkivskyi district. The fuel pumps caught fire. Two people were injured: a 51-year-old customer and a 26-year-old gas station attendant.

As a reminder, Kherson and the surrounding region are under enemy attack: On August 24, Russian forces attacked the Kherson region with artillery and drones. One person was killed, and eight were wounded.
