Last night, the Ukrainian Defense Forces launched a massive strike against the naval base in Novorossiysk, which remains the Russian Navy’s last major outpost in the Black Sea and is located more than 300 kilometers from the front line.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy made this statement on Telegram.
According to the head of state, to carry out this mission, Ukrainian forces used Ukrainian Palyanytsia jet drones, Neptune missiles, and modern unmanned maritime systems, which accurately struck their targets.

The president also emphasized that the occupying fleet and all the infrastructure supporting it will not be safe as long as Russia’s armed aggression continues. Therefore, in his words, “the war must be stopped, and all reasonable proposals for diplomacy are on the table.”
As a reminder, on the night of July 29, units of the Ukrainian Defense Forces carried out large-scale strikes against the enemy’s strategic targets, in particular, successfully striking the base for the Russian Black Sea Fleet’s high-speed boats in the Mizhvodne area of occupied Crimea (the facility provided patrol and logistical support).
