Over the past 24 hours, on August 21, three people were killed as a result of enemy attacks on Zaporizhzhia and the Zaporizhzhia district. Another 19 civilians were wounded, including two children.

This was reported by Ivan Fedorov, head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration.

In total, the occupying forces carried out 539 strikes on 42 settlements in the Zaporizhzhia region.

Russian troops used various types of weapons:

  • 15 airstrikes;
  • 417 UAVs of various types (primarily FPV drones);
  • 107 artillery strikes.

Law enforcement agencies received 71 reports of damage to residential buildings, private vehicles, and critical and civilian infrastructure.

As a reminder, on August 21 in the Zaporizhzhia region, the Russians attacked a minibus and cars with drones: one person was killed and six were wounded. The occupiers also attacked a vehicle carrying humanitarian aid in the Kushuhum community of the Zaporizhzhia district with an FPV drone.

Later that night, on August 22, Russian troops attacked the village of Kushuhum with a drone. One man was killed in the strike, and four others were wounded.
