Over the past 24 hours, on August 7, Russian occupation forces carried out 978 strikes on the territory of Zaporizhzhia Oblast. As a result of the enemy attacks on the Zaporizhzhia district, there have been civilian casualties, including both dead and wounded.

This is stated in a report by Ivan Fedorov, head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration.

Three people were killed and four more civilians were wounded as a result of Russian strikes on the Zaporizhzhia district.

In total, 56 settlements in the region came under enemy fire. The enemy used various types of weapons in the attacks:

  • Drones: 712 UAVs of various types (primarily FPV drones);
  • Artillery: 249 artillery strikes;
  • Airstrikes: 15 airstrikes;
  • Multiple-launch rocket systems: two attacks using MLRS.

Over the past 24 hours, law enforcement and relevant agencies received 76 reports of damage to civilian infrastructure, private and multi-family residential buildings, as well as vehicles.
