In Chernihiv, Russian troops struck an ATB supermarket: two people were killed, including a child

This was reported by Dmytro Bryzhynskyi, head of the Chernihiv Regional Military Administration.

According to him, the UAV crash at the ATB supermarket was recorded in the ZAZ area.

So far, two fatalities have been reported, including a 10-year-old child. Seven other people were injured, and one person is in critical condition.

Emergency services are on the scene.

Updated at 7:40 p.m. The National Police reported that the Russian attack claimed the lives of a 23-year-old woman and a 10-year-old girl. Preliminary reports indicate 20 people were injured, including a 10-year-old boy.

In addition, police bomb disposal experts have preliminarily determined that the Russians attacked the supermarket with a jet-powered drone equipped with a video camera, indicating a deliberate strike on a civilian target.

Updated at 7:00 p.m. According to the head of the Chernihiv Regional Military Administration, the enemy struck three locations in the city: an ATB supermarket, a car repair shop, and a warehouse. So far, 20 people have sought medical attention, and three of them have been hospitalized.

He added that a Day of Mourning will be declared in Chernihiv tomorrow, July 27, in memory of the victims.

Updated at 5:40 p.m. Dmytro Bryzhynskyi reported that the number of people injured in the strike on the supermarket has risen to 13. Among them are 4 men and 9 women.

As a reminder, on July 23, Russian troops continued shelling border settlements in the Novhorod-Siverskyi district, striking civilian communities and infrastructure. At least 31 explosions were recorded over the course of the day.
