The search for the missing people in Kryvyi Rih has been going on for four days: search dogs have been brought in to assist

Eight service dogs, accompanied by handlers from the Sumy, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, and Poltava regions as well as Dnipro, have arrived in Kryvyi Rih.

The four-legged rescuers are working amid reinforced concrete debris, broken glass, and twisted metal. They are searching hard-to-reach cavities and rubble where people or machinery cannot go.

K-9 units have already searched over 1,000 square meters of the destroyed complex.

Search operations are continuing around the clock. Three people, including one child, are still listed as missing.

As a reminder, the number of casualties resulting from the Russian strike on the “Sunny Gallery” shopping and entertainment complex in Kryvyi Rih, which took place on the evening of August 21, has risen to 140 people.

On the evening of August 21, Russian forces launched a double strike on Kryvyi Rih’s largest shopping center. The enemy carried out a second strike approximately half an hour after the first, deliberately targeting rescuers and emergency services that had arrived at the scene. Sixteen people were killed as a result of this attack.
