On the morning of Sunday, July 26, Russian occupation forces launched an attack on Kryvyi Rih, striking civilian infrastructure. A fire broke out at a shopping center in the city.

This was reported by Oleksandr Ganza, head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration.

Strike on a shopping center in Kryvyi Rih

The enemy’s main attack this morning targeted Kryvyi Rih. At 6:50 a.m., the Ukrainian Air Force warned of jet-powered drones moving toward the city. Explosions were then heard in the city. The shopping center building was damaged by the strike, and a fire broke out at the scene. Information on casualties is being verified.

Shelling of other districts in the region

In total, over the course of the night, the Russian military attacked three districts of the Dnipropetrovsk region nearly 20 times, using heavy artillery and various types of drones.

  • Pavlohrad: A 66-year-old man was injured as a result of the shelling. He received the necessary medical care and will undergo outpatient treatment.
  • Nikopol District: Nikopol, as well as the Marganetsk and Pokrovsk communities, came under fire. In the district’s regional center, a department store building was damaged.

As of now, one wounded civilian has been reported in the region. Specialized and emergency services are working at all impact sites; the full extent of the damage caused by the enemy’s terror is being assessed.

As a reminder, on the night of July 25, Russian troops launched a rocket-powered drone strike on the vehicle yard of the “Nova Poshta” sorting terminal in Sumy. Three drivers were killed in the attack, and others were injured.
