Emergency and rescue operations have been completed in the Dnipropetrovsk region following Russia's strike on a shopping center in Kryvyi Rih on August 21.

As a result of the Russian attack, 16 people were killed and another 136 were injured, including 26 children

At the site of the strike, rescue workers cleared approximately 5,000 square meters of the shopping center’s destroyed structures and surveyed 100% of the area. In total, about 1,230 metric tons of building debris were removed.
Rescuers from the Sumy, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, Poltava, Odesa, Cherkasy, Kharkiv, and Kirovohrad regions were deployed for search-and-rescue and other emergency operations

The agency noted that nearly 200 rescuers and more than 40 units of specialized and heavy engineering equipment were deployed to carry out emergency rescue and other urgent operations.
As a reminder, on the evening of August 21, Russian troops launched a double strike on Kryvyi Rih’s largest shopping center. The enemy struck a second time approximately half an hour after the first, deliberately targeting rescuers and emergency services that had arrived at the scene. Sixteen people were killed as a result of this attack.
The number of people injured as a result of the Russian strike on the “Sunny Gallery” shopping and entertainment complex in Kryvyi Rih stands at nearly 140. Three people are considered missing.
