Consequences of the Russian strike on Lviv State Emergency Service

The number of victims of the rocket attack on Lviv has risen to 38. Thirty-five buildings were damaged.

This was reported by Maksym Kozytskyi, head of the Lviv Regional Military Administration, and the State Emergency Service’s press office.

As a result of yesterday’s rocket attack on Lviv, 38 people were injured. Unfortunately, a 35-year-old man was killed

According to the State Emergency Service, debris removal is ongoing at the site of the strike in Lviv. 

Rescuers have so far removed over 500 metric tons of damaged structures and hauled away more than 100 metric tons of construction debris

A total of 35 buildings were damaged in Lviv as a result of the Russian missile attack. Residential buildings on Paton and Vyhovsky Streets sustained the most damage.

As a reminder, on the night of July 30, Russian forces carried out a combined attack on Ukraine. In Lviv, residential buildings on Paton and Vyhovsky Streets were hit by the Russian strike. Law enforcement officer Volodymyr Shandra was killed in the attack. The body of the 35-year-old man was recovered from under the rubble of the building.
