In a suburb of Kharkiv, cleanup efforts are underway following the Russian strike that occurred on August 23. According to preliminary reports, three people were killed. Rescue workers evacuated eight residents, some of whom were injured.

This was reported by Oleg Sinyegubov, head of the Kharkiv Regional State Administration, on Telegram.

Units of the State Emergency Service rescued and evacuated eight people. The injured have been hospitalized, and medical personnel are providing them with the necessary care.

Meanwhile, rescue workers and medical personnel continue to search the area. They are checking to see if there are any other people who may have been injured as a result of the attack.

All emergency services are on the scene. Efforts to address the aftermath of the strike are ongoing.

As a reminder, on Ukraine’s National Flag Day, Russian troops carried out at least five strikes on railway infrastructure facilities. Two female passengers were killed and six others were injured as a result of a drone attack on an electric train in the Kharkiv region.
