Russian forces launched a strike with six drones overnight on the village of Lebyazhe in the Kharkiv region. Two women were killed in the attack, and two others were wounded.

Oleg Sinehubov, head of the Kharkiv Regional State Administration, reported this on Telegram.

The victims were 73 and 66 years old. A 41-year-old and a 73-year-old woman were injured. Medical personnel provided them with the necessary care.

The attack also caused fires in five private residential buildings. Three houses were destroyed, and another 20 were damaged. In addition, three outbuildings were damaged.

Later, Oleg Synyegubov reported that during rescue operations and the clearing of rubble in Lebyazhe, the bodies of two victims were recovered.

State Emergency Service units are conducting emergency rescue operations at the sites of the strikes. Law enforcement officers are documenting yet another war crime committed by the occupiers, and emergency medical teams are also on duty at the sites.

As a reminder, on August 19, Russian troops attacked Kharkiv with drones. One of the drones struck the Kholodnohirskyi district, while another crashed near an apartment building in the Saltivskyi district. No casualties were reported at the time.

It was also reported yesterday that Ukrainian forces were advancing in the north of the Kharkiv region. According to the ISW, Ukrainian forces also thwarted an attempt by Russian troops to raise a flag in the Vovchansk direction.
