Reports of a drone attack in Sochi: the port is on fire

On the evening of September 9, an explosion was heard in the area of the seaport and surrounding areas of Sochi. Locals reported fires, thick smoke, and Russian air defense systems in action.
This is being reported by monitoring Telegram channels.
According to ASTRA’s OSINT analysts, the explosion occurred on the beach near the “Chornomorska Zharovna” restaurant on Primorska Street. Footage released by eyewitnesses shows a bright flash and burning objects on the shore.
ASTRA also reported partial damage to the restaurant. Nearby is the “Festivalny” concert hall, where Tatyana Bulanova was performing that evening. Her concert was interrupted, and people began leaving the hall.
The beach infrastructure and the adjacent section of Primorskaya Embankment were partially damaged. Emergency and special response teams are on the scene.

As a reminder, on September 7, there were also reports of a possible second fire at the “Rosneft-Kubannefteprodukt” oil depot in Sochi. The facility had already been attacked on September 4, but information about a new fire was not officially confirmed at that time.
