Ukrainian forces have disabled seven of the ten largest logistics centers belonging to the Russian marketplace Wildberries.
This was reported by the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense.
On the night of August 16, as a result of a large-scale drone attack on the Moscow region, two key Wildberries facilities—a warehouse in Domodedovo and a logistics hub in the “Koledino” industrial park—were forced to suspend operations.
The facility in Koledino is Wildberries’ largest warehouse by area—it covers approximately 250,000 square meters. A massive fire broke out on the complex’s grounds after a drone struck the facility. Local Russian authorities also confirmed that the facility had been struck.
The Ministry of Defense emphasized that the destruction of most of the key warehouse facilities is a significant blow to the enemy’s infrastructure, and that Russian logistics are increasingly feeling the consequences of the war unleashed by the Russian Federation against Ukraine.
As a reminder, on August 15, the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense reported that Ukrainian specialists from the Cyber Corps community carried out a cyber operation against the digital infrastructure of the Russian marketplace Wildberries. The attack caused widespread disruptions to the company’s services.
And on the morning of August 16, fires were reported at two large logistics facilities in the Moscow region. These were the Wildberries warehouse in Kolesino and the “Northern Domodedovo” multimodal logistics complex.
