Ukrainian military forces struck a Russian "Kasta" radar station

In the Vyshneve district of Zaporizhzhia Oblast, the destruction of the Russian "Kasta" radar station has been confirmed. On September 1, strike UAVs struck the complex's antenna and equipment station.
This was reported by the General Staff.
It states that the “Kasta-2E2” is a Russian-made mobile three-coordinate radar system designed to detect and track air targets, particularly at low altitudes. The station can detect aircraft, helicopters, cruise missiles, and drones.
The radar’s stated detection range is 5 to 150 km, and its altitude range is up to 6 km. The estimated cost of the system, depending on the configuration, can be as high as $60 million.
As a reminder, on September 2 and during the night of September 3, units of the Ukrainian Defense Forces carried out a series of successful strikes against a number of key Russian military targets in the temporarily occupied territories.
