Overnight, Russia attacked Ukraine with “Onyx,” “Iskander-M,” and 267 drones: strikes on Kyiv have continued for the third consecutive day

This is stated in a report from the Ukrainian Air Force.

The statement notes that this air attack was repelled by the Air Force, anti-aircraft missile forces, electronic warfare units, unmanned aerial vehicle units, and mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.

According to preliminary data, as of 8:30 a.m., air defense forces had shot down and neutralized 233 drones in northern, southern, eastern, and central Ukraine.

At the same time, Russian airstrikes were recorded at 15 locations, and downed drones were found at 4 locations.

In addition, as emphasized by the Ukrainian Air Force, some of the enemy’s munitions failed to reach their targets; information regarding these is being clarified.

As of 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, August 29, the Russian attack on Ukraine continues.

In particular, Russian airstrikes on Kyiv have been ongoing for the fourth consecutive day.

On the morning of August 29, rescue workers reported that during the night of August 28–29, a Russian attack in the Sviatoshynskyi district of the city caused a fire in one of the apartments on the 9th floor of a nine-story residential building. There were no casualties or injuries as a result of the incident.

In addition, on the morning of August 29, a Russian attack damaged residential buildings and an administrative building in a residential neighborhood in Kyiv’s Sviatoshynsky district.

Two residents of a private home sought medical attention from an ambulance crew.

In the Odesa region, one person was killed and three others were wounded as a result of Russian strikes, according to rescue workers on the morning of August 29.

Rescue workers also reported that on the mornings of August 28 and 29, Russian forces attacked the Mykolaiv region, targeting civilian and energy infrastructure. A supermarket and a warehouse were damaged. A fire broke out. There were no casualties.
