Over the past 24 hours, Russian troops carried out heavy shelling of the Zaporizhzhia and Sumy regions. As a result of the attacks, three people were killed and 14 others were wounded, with injuries ranging in severity.

This was reported by Ivan Fedorov, head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration, and the National Police press service on Telegram.

According to the report, the enemy carried out 913 strikes across Zaporizhzhia and the region, targeting 52 settlements, resulting in two deaths and seven injuries.

The occupiers carried out 19 airstrikes, launched 678 drones of various types (primarily FPV) at dozens of towns and villages, fired from multiple-launch rocket systems, and carried out 215 artillery strikes.

There were 78 reports of damage to infrastructure, homes, vehicles, and farm buildings

Meanwhile, the National Police reported on the consequences of war crimes committed by the Russian Federation’s army in the Sumy region, where one person was killed and seven others were wounded as a result of attacks involving guided aerial bombs, mortars, artillery, and UAVs.

Specifically, a man was killed by mortar fire in the Seredino-Budsk community, and two men were injured by enemy drone strikes in the Sumy community, the agency reported.

The National Police added that a 53-year-old man and a 68-year-old woman in the Bilopil community, a 62-year-old woman in the Bereziv community (after a strike on a farm building), a 44-year-old man in the Velykopysariv community, and a 51-year-old man in the Sadiv community. 

As a reminder, on July 22, following yet another enemy attack by Russian drones on Zaporizhzhia, a fire broke out in the city on the premises of two civilian enterprises.

And on the evening of July 20, the enemy launched a drone strike on a residential area in Sumy. A woman and two children were injured. One child was hospitalized, while the other child and the woman received medical care at the scene.
