Enemy attacks in the Kherson region: 20 people wounded, one rescue worker killed

Russian occupiers continue to attack the Kherson region with drones.
This was reported by the Kherson Regional State Administration and the Kherson City Council.
According to the Regional State Administration, at approximately 6:15 p.m., a mother and her son were struck by an enemy UAV in the Korabelny district of Kherson.
The 14-year-old boy sustained blast injuries and shrapnel wounds to his neck, torso, arms, and legs. The 36-year-old woman sustained blast injuries and shrapnel wounds to her chest and leg.
According to the State Emergency Service (SES), a 37-year-old SES employee—Chief Inspector of the Department for the Maintenance of Protective Structures and Organization of Evacuation Measures, Civil Protection Service Captain Oleksandr Chyzhevych—was killed in the Kherson region.
He sustained shrapnel wounds and was hospitalized. Doctors fought to save his life until the very end but were unable to save him.
According to Yaroslav Shanko, head of the Kherson Regional State Administration, around 5:00 p.m., Russian invaders attacked the city’s Central District. A drone struck a car, injuring the driver. The vehicle was damaged.
Around 2:40 p.m., a 60-year-old man was injured in a drone attack in the Central District. He sustained blast injuries and shrapnel wounds to his right leg.
Around 2:30 p.m., three people were injured in a drone strike in the Central District of Kherson: a 49-year-old man and two women aged 47 and 55. They sustained blast injuries and shrapnel wounds.
At approximately 2:30 p.m., a 32-year-old man riding a scooter was struck by an enemy attack in Bilozertsi. He was diagnosed with a blast injury and a shrapnel wound to his forearm.
At 12:30 p.m., the enemy attacked the Dniprovskyi district with a drone. A 57-year-old man sustained an explosive injury and shrapnel wounds to his head, torso, arms, and legs.
At 12:20 p.m., the Russians attacked a car in the Central District of Kherson using a drone. A 38-year-old man was injured (blast injury and shrapnel wounds).
Two people were injured in the shelling of Komyshan: a 68-year-old woman and a 69-year-old man. They sustained blast injuries and concussions.
A drone attack targeted Ingulets in the Darivska community. The UAV struck a private home, injuring two women aged 53 and 86 (blast injuries, injuries to the arms and legs, and acute stress reaction).
A 50-year-old man was attacked by a UAV in downtown Kherson this morning. He sustained blast injuries, a closed head injury, a concussion, and a brain contusion.
At approximately 4:50 a.m., the Russians attacked the Dniprovskyi district with a drone. A 69-year-old man and a 70-year-old woman were injured. A 47-year-old man sustained an explosive injury and a shrapnel wound to his back.
At approximately 3:30 a.m., a 44-year-old man was injured (mine-blast injury) as a result of a UAV attack on one of the medical facilities in the Dniprovskyi district of Kherson. A 53-year-old man sustained a mine-blast injury.
As a reminder, Kherson may be without electricity and heat for an extended period: the Regional Military Administration is urging residents to evacuate. Due to Russian strikes, the Kherson Thermal Power Plant has sustained very serious damage.
