Zelenskyy confirmed the destruction of a Russian Su-24M in Crimea and relay stations in the Bryansk region

The Ukrainian Defense Forces carried out a series of strikes on the occupiers’ military facilities in Crimea and on the territory of the Russian Federation. The destruction of an enemy Su-24M bomber, airfield equipment, a radar station, and drone storage facilities has been confirmed.
This was announced by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and elaborated upon by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Destruction of an Aircraft and Enemy Transmitters
According to Zelenskyy, as a result of previous operations by Ukrainian forces at the “Saki” airfield in the temporarily occupied Crimea, a Russian Su-24M bomber and four pieces of airfield equipment were destroyed.
In addition, in the Bryansk region of the Russian Federation, Ukrainian military personnel destroyed relay stations that Russian troops had been using to control and guide attack drones toward Ukrainian settlements. The head of state also noted the destruction of a logistics hub in the Samara region of the Russian Federation and operations by Ukrainian forces in the Black Sea.
Destruction of the “Primorsko-Akhtarsk” Airfield
Additional confirmed data on the results of strikes against Russian military aviation infrastructure were released by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
According to the analysis, during the strike on August 20 against the area of the “Primorsko-Akhtarsk” airfield in the Krasnodar Krai of the Russian Federation, one “Niobium” radar station and 18 warehouse buildings used to store UAVs were damaged.
As a reminder, on the night of August 22, units of the Ukrainian Defense Forces struck facilities at the Novokuybyshevsk Oil Refinery in the Samara Region of the Russian Federation. The attack caused a fire to break out on the refinery’s premises.
