Air defense systems, drone depots, and command posts: The Defense Forces struck a number of Russian military facilities

Throughout August 14 and into the night of August 15, units of the Ukrainian Defense Forces carried out strikes against a number of key military targets belonging to the Russian occupiers in the Luhansk, Donetsk, and Zaporizhzhia regions.
This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
According to the Ukrainian military command, effective strikes were carried out against the following enemy targets:
- Air Defense Suppression: A “Strela-10” surface-to-air missile system was struck in the city of Kreminna, Luhansk Oblast.
- Depots and logistics: An occupiers’ UAV depot in Vuhledar, Donetsk Oblast, as well as a logistics depot in Lysychansk, Luhansk Oblast, were destroyed or damaged.
- Command infrastructure: Strikes were carried out on two enemy command posts – in Selidovo, Donetsk Oblast, and in Mykhailivka, Zaporizhzhia Oblast.
The extent of the damage inflicted and the final results of the strikes are currently being assessed.
As a reminder, on the night of Friday, August 15, Ukrainian forces carried out a series of long-range strikes against strategic targets on the territory of the Russian Federation. In particular, one of the key enterprises within Roscosmos – the Progress Center in the Samara region – was struck.
