On August 12, the Ukrainian Defense Forces carried out a series of strikes against enemy military targets in the temporarily occupied territory of Crimea.
This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Near Novofedorivka, the control tower at the “Saki” airfield was struck.
Near Chornomorsk, a relay station that the occupiers were using to control “Geran”/“Gerbera”-type attack UAVs was destroyed.
The destruction of these facilities weakens the enemy’s ability to maintain the military airfield’s operations and control attack drones.
Operations against key targets are ongoing. Defense forces are systematically reducing the enemy’s ability to conduct combat operations.
As a reminder, “Omega” special forces destroyed a Russian Su-24M bomber at the “Saki” airfield in Crimea. The operation was carried out after the target was identified. Just as the aircraft was preparing for a combat sortie to strike targets in Ukraine, attack drones struck the target.
