Power outages have been reported in six regions of Ukraine due to enemy shelling

As a result of Russian shelling of energy infrastructure, as of the morning of August 3, some consumers in six regions of Ukraine were temporarily without power.
This was reported by the Ministry of Energy.
Power outages have been reported in the Donetsk, Dnipropetrovsk, Kharkiv, Mykolaiv, Kherson, and Sumy regions.
Emergency repair crews are working around the clock to restore power as quickly as possible to all affected customers.
At the same time, the Ministry of Energy has assured the public that no scheduled power outages are currently planned across the country.
Also, due to the heat, energy officials are urging Ukrainians to use electricity sparingly whenever possible and to operate high-power household appliances during daytime hours.
As a reminder, against the backdrop of weather forecasts predicting an abnormal heat wave that could increase electricity consumption by 1 GW, the authorities are preparing Ukraine’s power grid for peak loads. At the same time, the government is considering the implementation of temporary power outages.
