The director of a language center in the Khmelnytskyi region, who is suspected of sexually abusing female students, was ordered to remain in custody without bail

Under the procedural supervision of the Khmelnytskyi Regional Prosecutor’s Office, a 58-year-old director and English teacher at one of the local foreign language centers has been notified that he is suspected of sexually abusing a young girl and a minor.
According to updated information from the Office of the Prosecutor General, the director of a language center in Khmelnytskyi, who sexually abused female students, has been taken into custody.
The court ordered the 58-year-old teacher to be held in custody without bail.
The Office of the Prosecutor General had previously announced that charges had been filed.
The investigation established that the suspect, using his authority as the head of an educational institution and as a teacher, committed lewd acts against two female students (one a minor and the other underage) during class.
Law enforcement officials are currently determining whether to impose pretrial detention on the suspect and are also investigating his involvement in other possible incidents of sexual abuse.
The perpetrator faces a prison sentence of 5 to 8 years.
As a reminder, a story involving the owner of a private English language school in Khmelnytskyi has gained widespread attention. After it became known that a case involving child pornography had been referred to court, accounts from women began to appear on social media. They claim that while attending the school, they were subjected to unwanted sexualized attention from the teacher.
