Special operation to dismantle drug infrastructure in Ukraine: 100 kg of drugs seized, 64 warehouses dismantled

The third phase of the nationwide anti-drug operation “RUBICON” has been completed. Investigators have served notices of suspicion to 98 suspects.

Over the course of three phases, law enforcement officers systematically dismantled the entire drug trafficking network: from industrial production and warehouse infrastructure to logistics, online sales, and financial flows.
Police conducted more than 290 searches across 23 regions and the capital. More than 100 kg of narcotics and psychotropic substances were seized. The operations of 56 online drug shops were shut down, and 64 warehouses storing finished drug products were dismantled.

It is noted that law enforcement officers dismantled production facilities, smuggling channels for precursor chemicals, and networks for the distribution and storage of narcotics. Participants at all levels of the criminal activity were exposed—from the organizers of the drug trade to suppliers and individual drug couriers.
In total, 367 individuals have been notified of suspicion of committing drug-related crimes.
As a reminder, the organizer of an international drug syndicate with a turnover of 12 million hryvnias, who had been hiding in Jordan, was extradited to Ukraine. The criminals manufactured and sold psychotropic substances on an industrial scale.
