President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, together with members of the clergy, prayed for peace and an end to the war, for Ukraine and its defenders—both men and women—as well as for the safe return home of those whose families are waiting for them.
The president reported this on his Telegram channel.
According to the president, the participants in the prayer were united by a spiritual bond, which, in his view, helps Ukraine continue its fight for its freedom and future.

During the joint prayer, they also prayed for Ukraine and the Ukrainian people, for peace and an end to the war, as well as for the defenders.
They paid special tribute to all those awaiting the return of their loved ones and asked for blessings for Ukraine.
As a reminder, “The resilience of Ukrainians is beyond Russia’s reach”: Zelenskyy congratulated citizens on the 35th anniversary of Independence. The President emphasized the unity and resilience of the people.
In addition, Charles III congratulated Ukrainians on Independence Day. The Palace of Westminster, where the British Parliament holds its sessions, was illuminated in blue and yellow.
