An unusual parade of military equipment took place at several locations in Kyiv. Early in the morning, dozens of ground-based robotic systems (GRS) secretly drove down Khreshchatyk, drones took to the sky, and naval drones sped down the Dnipro River. All of this was captured on video on August 24—the 35th anniversary of Ukraine’s independence.

On July 30, a Russian missile destroyed the home of the Voronov’s, a family with many children, in the village of Radushne in the Dnipropetrovsk region. The father and mother, their seven children, and their one-and-a-half-year-old grandson Artem were killed. Of the couple’s ten children, only the three oldest survived: 25-year-old Aurika, 23-year-old Danilo, and 19-year-old Matviy. They were far from home at the time of the strike.

On the night of July 31, 20-year-old volunteer and tactical medicine instructor Vitalina Yarovenko was killed in Kyiv. Along with other volunteers, she had traveled to the Darnytskyi district to help people in the aftermath of a Russian attack.
