In the first seven months of 2026, Russian attacks destroyed 37 gas stations belonging to the Naftogaz Group’s network. Some of the facilities have been repaired, while the rest remain destroyed and out of service.

This was reported by the Naftogaz press office.

Since the beginning of the year, the enemy has attacked 32 gas stations belonging to Ukrnafta and five facilities belonging to Ukrgazvydobuvannya. Russia has launched repeated strikes on certain facilities—particularly after repairs were completed and operations resumed

It is noted that, in total, since the start of Russian aggression in 2014, the state-owned “Ukrnafta” network has lost 123 gas stations.

The company clarified that 67 of these gas stations remain in temporarily occupied territories. The others were destroyed or ceased operations due to their proximity to the combat zone.

As a reminder, according to the Financial Times, Russian troops have already destroyed more than 200 gas stations in Ukraine’s frontline regions. Despite this, there is no fuel crisis or gasoline shortage. An intensification of attacks on gas stations has been observed in recent weeks. Russia’s goal is to disrupt logistics on key routes, particularly the Kyiv–Kharkiv highway, and to retaliate against attacks by the Ukrainian Defense Forces on Russian oil refineries.
